Hot Chicks with Stuffed Animals

Author: Tista
For: Bunny
Timeline: End of Days—Season 7
Rating: PG13
Requested: Who requested: Faith (Season 3 or 7 Faith) having a nice conversation with Mr. Gordo, alone, and someone (your choice) busting her talking to him, and being shocked. And does not want: Nothing above a PG-13 rating, please. NO evil Faith. If you have to mention her going evil, she's redeemed now, darnit. Anything else is game.
Notes: Used some dialog from "End of Days."

Faith was enjoying spending time in Buffy's room. She often thought she would've been different if she would've been raised by somebody like Joyce in a nice suburban neighborhood. Would she have stayed in school or never killed people?

After Buffy helped rescue Faith and the potentials from the arsenal, they had a heart to heart talk. It was the first time that Faith had understood Buffy in a real way. She really started connecting with the other slayer, after taking charge of the potentials. Faith had some insight on why Buffy often acted like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. She finally knew the sense of responsibility the blonde slayer personified.

Faith was still recovering in Buffy's bedroom. When Buffy came in, the two shared in a rare chat without even throwing a single punch.

"I'm looking at you, everything you have and, I don't know… jealous. Then there I am, everybody's looking to me, trusting me to lead them and I've never felt so alone in my entire life." Faith said.

She asked. "And that's you, every day. Isn't it?"

"I love my friends. I'm very grateful for them. But that's the price of being a Slayer." Buffy replied.

Faith observed. "There's only supposed to be one. Maybe that's why you and I can never get along. We're not supposed to exist together."

Buffy said. "Also, you went evil and were killing people".

"Good point. Also a factor."

"But you're right. I mean, I guess everyone's alone but being a Slayer? There's a burden we can't share." She said.

"And no one else can feel it." Faith paused a second. "Thank god we're hot chicks with superpowers."

"Takes the edge off." Buffy added.

"Comforting." Faith said.

"Mm-hmm. I know something else that has always made me feel better."

"Hot sex with a blonde vampire?" Faith offered.

"Yes." Buffy giggled. "But I was thinking about something else."

She asked. "Jack Daniel’s?"

"I was going for something much more innocent and pure." Buffy hopped off the bed and walked over to her bookshelf. She took her favorite stuffed animal and held him close to her heart. Faith looked at her with confusion. Buffy was suppose to be the big bad slayer and she's snuggling up to a fluffy pink pig.

"Faith, I want you to meet Mr. Gordo. He's a real good listener."

"Well, I've never really talked to stuffed animals before." She was shocked that Buffy wanted her to do this.

"Try it." Buffy handed Faith the pig. "If you don't like it you can stop and tell me I'm a silly little girl."

"O.k. B." She looked at Mr. Gordo suspiciously. "I'll try it just for you. You know if I feel stupid you'll never live this down."

"That is something I was kinda counting on." Buffy said as she walked out of the door.

O.k. Pig. Faith exhaled dramatically. Let's give this a try.

Never had a stuffed animal of my own, sort of fitting I gotta share B's. I never was the type of girl that wore frilly dresses and played with My Little Pony. I was too busy taking care of my drunk ass mother.

Faith held Gordo tighter. I didn't get anything back from her. I tried so damn hard to make her love me. Even when I was little I thought that other people were just a pain in the ass. Friends were just a convenience and never added to my life, so I just took whatever I could get. I use to think all of that shit was wasted time.

"My poor little firecracker." It was the First Evil, wearing the face of the Mayor. "I can't wait to hear what you have to tell that darling little pig about me."

"I told you to leave me alone." She sat up straighter to show more authority. She didn't drop Gordo; he still sat near her lap. "I know you're not him, we've covered that the last time you were here."

"We were just getting started when that swell African American man came in here and you gave into lust. I thought I taught you better than that, Faith. If you keep your legs shut things would be much simpler."

"I'm not listening." Faith said.

"I haven't even started on those poor sweet girls you got up-close-and-personal with explosives. Those bombs are nasty things, and I should know since. . ."

Faith covered her head with a pillow. It wasn't like she was afraid of what he had to say, but she wasn't in the mood for it. Faith was way too tired to deal with the First. She wanted to ignore it and make it go away. Gordo made her feel much better; Faith liked opening her heart to a stuff pig that gave her support and no editorial comments.

A demonic voice echoed loudly throughout her head. "I'm not done with you yet, little girl!"

She took the pillow off her head. The First as the Mayor was gone and the room was empty.

Faith’s heart was beating fast and she struggled to take a deep breath. She stroked his pink fur. I'm not the mood to talk anymore. But it was great Gordo.

Faith held Mr. Gordo up to her face as she was visiting with him. You know pinky, maybe we can talk later. When auntie Faithy is less tired and more willing to share.

Spike cracked upon the bedroom door and saw Faith with Gordo. "Didn’t fancy you as the type of girl that played with toys."

Faith tried to maintain her bad-ass image. "Is it a crime to look at a stuffed pig? And for your information, I wasn’t playing."

"Buffy's talked you into one on one time with the pig? She does that to all her friends, although I’m surprised she let you into the Gordo club. Even made the big bad snuggle up with Gordo this one time."

Faith dropped Mr. Gordo and put him behind her back. "What are you doing here, blondie? Here to hit me again?"

"No I smelled fear up here. Came to help. I didn't realize it was you. Slayers can take of themselves, as I'm well aware." He paused a moment. "I wanted you to know, I got your back. Yesterday, I was just defending my girl and it wasn't about you."

"I kinda figured that. Did Buffy tell you to apologize or something?" She asked.

Spike replied. "No. I just figure we're all stronger together." He turned to leave. "Give Gordo a hug for me and if you tell anyone I said that I'll kill you."

Faith smirked and pulled Mr. Gordo back into her arms. It's time for sleep Gordo. I like you piggy. I'm glad Buffy shared you with me.

I had a good day. This girl with the dark fur was nice to cuddle. She hugged me very tight, just like my girl. I was happy I made her feel good. I was mad when that ghost man showed up. He seemed nice, but was bad. I know my girls and yellow will get rid of the ghost man forever. I hope they all work together and see that we’re all friends. Friends are good.
